Introduce Yourself
The Big Idea
Your cohort is your learning community for the whole programme. This is your first chance to show up as yourself and hear from the people you will be working alongside.
Your Roadmap
| Section | Time | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Post in Discord | 15 min | ⚑ Required |
| Reflect | 30 min | ⚑ Required |
Post in Discord
Go to the #foundations channel on Discord and introduce yourself.
Include:
- Your name
- Your location
- Something you have been thinking about in terms of values or identity
- Why you are attending Dev Academy
Keep it as long or short as feels right. There is no wrong way to do this.
How to know you've nailed it

The Big Idea (revisited)
Your cohort is your team. Showing up honestly from the start builds the trust you will rely on throughout the programme.
