Timeboxing
The Big Idea
Every activity in the handbook has a suggested time. Timeboxing means working within that limit — then moving on, even if you are not done. It is one of the most important habits you will build at Dev Academy.
Your Roadmap

What timeboxing means
Each activity includes a recommended time. That time is an upper limit, not a target.
When the time is up, stop and move on — even if you feel unfinished. There will always be more to learn than time available. Finishing every task perfectly is not the goal. Building broad understanding across the whole curriculum is.
If you regularly finish early: check whether you are engaging deeply enough with the material.
If you regularly go over time: check whether you are staying focused on the learning objective, or getting blocked without asking for help.
How to track your time
Use Toggl or a timer on your device. Tracking time gives you useful data about your own pace and helps your facilitator understand where you are spending your energy.
You set up Toggl in the next activity.
The Big Idea (revisited)
Work to the timebox. Move on when it ends. Tracking your time is how you learn to manage it.
